Dr. Nguyen is a Southern California native and grew up in Orange County. She obtained her medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine and completed her specialty training in Family Medicine at Long Beach Memorial. Dr. Nguyen also completed a Masters program from UCLA School of Public Health. She has been very active in community education, including founding an adult and teen weight management support groups and being an educator for smoking cessation and women's health. Dr. Nguyen speaks English and Vietnamese.
