Dr. Kathryn Allen is an outstanding and highly experienced Family Medicine physician. She brings many years of quality primary care experience in both California and Utah. Dr. Allen spent over 30 years practicing medicine in the Salt Lake City area before moving back to her native state of California.
Dr. Allen completed medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, completed her Family Practice Residency and Internship at University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals and is a Board Certified Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). In addition to general primary care, Dr. Allen is Board Certified in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Allen has a host of experience in chronic disease management and won several quality awards for her care of patients with diabetes. She is also skilled in women’s health.
Dr. Allen feels that patients are able to make the best decisions for their own health when they have a primary care physician whom they trust and regard as a health care partner. She enjoys building long-term relationships with patients.
She loves Balkan folk music, barbershop singing, live theater, book clubs, fitness, and French language.
